HD(CP)² is chosen to provide data for next year's Scientific Visualization Competition organized by the Scientific Visualization branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This contest is open to anyone and promotes new visualization techniques, used to solve scientific questions in a certain research field.
